The world we live in is incredible.

I had the pleasure of taking a couple of days off from my thru-hike, while passing through the Yosemite Valley. I explored the park in all of its natural beauty, but when it came time to get back to the PCT and hike out of the valley, we decided to take the John Muir Trail up to Tuolumne Meadows to get back to the trail.

Along the way we took a little detour on the Clouds Rest Trail, to try and catch a glimpse of the magnificent valley from above, and were not disappointed with the view after a very steep climb to the top. Crazy to think that this was all created by the help of some giant glaciers just doing their thing.

The world we live in is incredible.
