Took a little time to indulge in the finer things in life, and went on a bit of an outdoor adventure for a week and a half with @chelseytravels
We hiked the CDT Loop in @rockynps which is a 30 mile loop, that takes you up and above the tree line, where you are greeted by a vast ridge, open and exposed to the elements. Both rewarding and scary all at the same time. Completed it in 2 days. So proud of @chelseytravels for trekking through it with me.
From there we explored parts of Colorado we had not before and on that list was @greatsanddunesnps
A bit of a drive south, but so worth the site of these massive dunes (more like dune mountains) sitting in front of even more massive mountains behind them… a confusing yet gratifying site for sure.
On this trip I took very little photos as I was trying to be in the moment a bit more, but this moment here was one that I felt I had to capture. If for no one else, I’d do it for myself and my own memories of this trip, because I’ll have to say it was one of the best yet. Hope for lots more escaping to the mountains this year. #escape
