While hiking through many of the wilderness areas, I would try and imagine what it must of been like to be one of the first people to discover the mountains and land that sat in front of us. The power of such a discovery before its time, would have been an important and significant find for the rest of the world.
I can only imagine the adrenaline and excitement an explorer would of had as they ran back down the mountains in anticipation of delivering the news and telling the story of the great unknown world in the sky. @clifbarcompany challenged me to and #DiscoverANewPeak. So we headed out to do just that, and climbed to the top of the highest summit in the contiguous United States at 14,505 feet of elevation.
