We all at some point or another get trail names while out here on the Pacific Crest Trail.
Some come easier than others and some don’t come at all, but when they do they always make sense in some way or another. With that said I’d like to introduce you to a fellow thru-hiker I have had the pleasure of sharing the trail with and getting to know very well.
This is “poet”. A really cool individual with a well trained vocabulary to follow. My trail name on the other hand has morphed along the way and become somewhat of a combo of two, a story in itself… Hi, my name is: “doc sippy” or just “doc” for short.
