@deathvalleynps oh dang. Well… the symmetry is perfect, and well, there was not a car anywhere in sight or anywhere near by… at all. And considering you can see for miles in both directions… I guess that’s why… but not that I really have to explain myself to you in the first place. I appreciate the concern but not the approach. Thanks though. ✌🏼️
@deathvalleynps I’ll have to agree with @littlepackage here. What constitutes what’s allowed and what’s not? I hike all over this place when I can, not just the roads. When I don’t have all the time I hope to have I drive the roads and snap what I can when I can, with respect to everyone and the environment in place. I have successfully thru hiked across the country, and through many many terrains and have found some wonderful scenery all over but a road says so much about the American culture, and I like to include it from time to time when it makes for a good photo. In this case we were driving and boom. Beautiful sunset. Made do with what we had there and then.
@littlepackage I am also surprised with that response, and totally agree with yah. I have seen some dumb shit go down out there, but this is such a reminder that it’s not the park responding that way, but some person who’s running the account.
@rachaelmottley it really was one to document. Something about the desert always seems to produce amazing sunsets
