7:26 PM – A Day In the Life of a Thru-Hiker

By July 22, 2014One Comment

In this three part series, I have been working with @Timex to show you a day in the life of a Pacific Crest Trail Thru-hiker. 7:26 PM : After hiking around an average of 30 miles at a 3mph pace, dusk begins to settle in and make way for low light and vista views to help close out the day on the trail. The hunt for the perfect camp spot begins, and all considerations come into play as your body begins to tire and seek restoration, all in order to just get up and do it all again the next day. Life is good.

    Hi Brandon,
Home again and found your website. My husband, being the Mr Clean that he is, threw out the paper plate you wrote your contact info on. So glad I found this. Will be enjoying your photos. I am the woman that gave you a ride from Fish Lake to the PCT on Hwy 140. Hope your travels are going well.
