Got put in handcuffs and everything for this one. After lots of aggressive behavior from some security guards and some smooth talking on my behalf, one of them eventually threw my gear bag down some stairs and surprisingly that changed everything. After I explained that I did not give permission to touch my gear and definitely not to throw it down some stairs and possibly break thousands of dollars worth of equipment, one of them came to their senses and let me go in fear that I would sue the hotel in return for the damages to my stuff. Overall the experience was really silly, and I’am not even sure if the shot was worth it, but regardless I am thankful it didn’t pan out the other way. Be careful, stay safe, Explore Chicago.
