Chicago Fire. Got out last night, and explored the city again for a bit, and decided to try and get some photos of an event going on downtown that was happening in memory of the great Chicago Fire of 1871. Was kind of nice to try and get my feet wet again, and in the process I got to run into a good amount of other Instagramers out there doing their thing, which was awesome to see how active the community currently is.

As I was about to pack up and leave, a announcement came on saying fireworks would be in 2 minutes. I know these were for the event, but in some small strange way I imagined them as a celebration of a return to a city I fell in love with before, complete with a fresh perspective and a new approach.
