While hiking the PCT, I had the opportunity to summit Mt. Whitney along the way. Naturally, I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to climb something, especially at the total elevation of 14,505 feet. When you are up that high, you cant help but feel like you’r on top of the world, figuratively and metaphorically. The views both at sunset and sunrise were ones I will never forget, and worth every bit of discomfort from the cold to see it.
