Sunrise in Joshua Tree National Park. Always a special treat.
Some of my favorite moments while out traveling and hiking are the ones where I find myself surrounded by the vastness of the American Southwest.
Such a calm place to collect your thoughts. A place surrounded by the ghost of a once lush terrain. A place that exposes its battle scars for all to see.
Imagine all the people that have crossed paths with this land. Imagine being able to go back and witness all the events and changes that have transpired here over time.
What a world we live in. I need a time machine. #joshuatree

@brandonexplores We acid tripped in Marble Canyon last weekend and thought about the same things. The goal was to decide where in the canyon you would accept having your feet planted for 10,000 years. Time could go as fast or as slow as you wanted, and your foot level would rise with ground level. But to watch everything take place! Would it be too much for the heart to bear?!
