After spending a couple of days on Pico Island, we took a boat over to the Island of Faial.
This island had a much different feel then the island of Pico, in both the culture and geography of the island, but one really fantastic thing about Faial Island, is the wonderful view of Mount Pico.
From this island you can see the towering 7,700 ft stratovolcano, the highest mountain in Portugal. 🇵🇹 a sight that captivates your attention from any point on the island.#travelzoo #azoresgetaways #yazores#azores
