These things blow my mind. When you drive around the Great Lakes you will spot a number of these large (I am guessing) shipping containers of some sort.
It seems the farther north you go the bigger these structures get and each one impressed me in its scale and size. The inside of these structures reminded me of a scene straight from Silent Hill, and I thought that was so cool considering I was a fan of the video game franchise back in the day.#shinfo

These are old ore docks that they used to use to load iron ore on to ships via those metal chute looking things. I only know because I grew up in Marquette. They usually light some fireworks in there on the 4th of July which is pretty spectacular.

Haha cheers man! The structure is an ole iron ore dock. That one isn’t used anymore. If you check out the one on presque isle, in the summer, you can see and hear massive ships loading up. Pretty cool

Iron ore docks, that one is where the Edmund Fitzgerald launched from
