Finishing up some edits for a article about some of the bizarre things I encountered while exploring down in Gary, Indiana. What you are looking at here is a huge abandoned factory that use to be home to a screw and bolt factory. It now sits stagnant. The only things left behind were several tons of rotting clothes. The clothing was left behind after a donation scheme went wrong, and all the public officials involved were convicted and put in jail. Since then no one has made an effort to remove the tons of donated clothes, and they have sat here and rotted away since the 1980’s.
