Over the next week as we exit 2014 and make our way into the new year, I will be featuring a couple of my favorite moments from the past year. Not going to pretend like this won’t be a hard exercise, but looking forward to a brief recap. Jumping into it, as the year began I was starting to get all my things prepared for my upcoming thru-hike on the @pacificcresttrail and was hoping the year would be an all around exciting adventure. My wish was granted when I met some really awesome people doing some really exciting things in Chicago. We headed out late into the night on a mission to catch some unique views of the city. There was fresh snow everywhere and I remember it being freezing cold, especially up at this height. Luckily the exhaust from the air vents was pumping out warm air, and when it would hit the cold night, it would create a cool and ominous fog. Naturally we took advantage of this effect and got some pretty awesome photos in the process. Nothing else mattered but the adventure in front of us, and I knew from this moment on that 2014 was definitely going to be a year that I never forget. More to come. (1/5)
