One of the coolest places we have had the pleasure of visiting.
A crater lake within the Água de Pau Massif Stratovolcano, located in the center of the Island of São Miguel in the country of Portugal, on the Azores Islands about 1,000 miles off the coast.
Whooo, that was a mouth full, but I guess also part of the appeal to such a mysterious and unique place to visit. All rewards, must be met with challenges, and this reward was so so sweet. .
