Mile 1,411. A dramatic evening on the in Northern California. As I continue to slightly recap bits of my thru hike in 2014, I wanted to share a couple of shots I took from the Northern California section. This section wasn’t always the most awesome or scenic section of the trail, but every once in a while it would take you to high elevations with gorgeous views, coupled with like minded sunsets. On this particular day we hiked through a ski resort so the trail was well maintained and made for easy walking to enjoy the view.
